Project Home Indy is committed to providing a holistic and culturally sensitive approach to providing services and programs to young families in need. Unlike the more common maternity home model, PHI provides a long-term residential environment where program opportunities are structured based on a custom, person-centered case management framework.
On October 1, Project Home Indy celebrated its 7th birthday. Since opening our doors in 2011, we have served 42 young families on their paths to achieving their full potential. Seven years of proud moms watching their babies crawl for the first time, supporting young moms-to-be as they heal from past trauma, congratulating young women as they grip their best report cards or newly-earned high school diplomas, and teaching young moms to achieve success. We are proud of the 42 young moms who have called PHI “home.” In honor of the 42 families we have served, PHI is searching for 42 volunteers to accept the “20/20 Challenge.” To accept the 20/20 Challenge, volunteers will get 20 friends to give $20. Together, we will raise $16,800 for Project Home Indy! Will you accept the 20/20 Challenge?
Everyday donors and volunteers provide the foundation for our organization. Without you, PHI would not be able to provide support to young families in need. Learn how you can put forth your talents to make a difference today.
The Project Home provides a stable, healthy and supportive environment for teen mothers to excel on their path to independence. Residents also receive an array of health services and educational programs.
