HOME
Pregnant and parenting teens have the ability to care for themselves and their children but need support to fully achieve their potential. We provide a safe and healthy environment for them and their children so they can learn, grow and thrive.

Pregnant or parenting teenagers who are also homeless face significant challenges. Often, they:

  • come from very low-income households
  • have been subject to neglect, and physical and sexual abuse
  • lack access to good medical care
  • may need treatment for mental illness, disabilities, or addiction
  • may not be able to be served in traditional shelter systems
  • are more likely to live their lives in poverty -- and so are their children
MISSION
Project HOME Indy provides a nurturing residential environment that assists homeless teenage girls who are pregnant or parenting in building self-sufficiency. We create opportunities to expand life skills, access healthcare, and realize greater educational success.
Project HOME Indy is currently in development. We intend to begin serving pregnant and parenting teens at our facility in early 2008.
